Description des services: Crisis support services to people with mental health concerns, who are experiencing crisis, and who have come into conflict with the criminal justice system. The program has two locations (south Brampton and South Mississauga) with 8 beds at each location, with 1 of these beds at each location available for individuals who meet the program criteria, but who are not involved with the criminal justice system, there are an additional 10 direct referral Police beds available for (PRP and Caledon OPP)

The Program is designed to promote crisis de-escalation. Clients are provided with temporary residence and support for up to 14 days

Services include:

  • 24/7 person-centered support
  • Crisis support and specialized short-term case management
  • Short-term care and discharge plans, and coordination and linkage to other community support services
  • Clinical assessments and interventions

Additional services that promote wellness and community reintegration

Procédé et formulaires: Contact intake at 416-553-1288 for more information. After hours call the programs directly to initiate a referral. Referrals are accepted only when there is a bed available, and there is no waitlist
Admissibilité / population desservie: To receive services, the individual must: *Be 16+ years old with diagnosed or apparent mental health symptoms *Be experiencing a crisis that escalates their symptoms of mental illness *Have had legal involvement (in the past 2 years) or have the potential for criminal involvement *Be residing or receiving services in Peel Region *NOT be an immediate risk to self or others
