Description des services: Ve'ahavta Skills Academy (VSA) - a free virtual pre-employment program that focuses on skills training and career support
  • 9 week paid program includes up to 6 months of Case Management support to set goals and create action plans for success
  • online workshops 3 days per week focused on pre-employment and life skills
  • one-on-one support from an Employment Specialist to help participants work toward employment goals
Life Stabilization Program (LSP) - free 3-month program providing individualized support for people navigating poverty, mental health challenges, and other complex barriers
  • one-on-one case management to identify goals and build achievable action plans
  • weekly peer support groups to strengthen connections to the community
Recipe for Success Internship - free 3-month paid internship in Ve'ahavta's commercial kitchen
  • participants work two shifts per week preparing nutritious meals for the community
  • Food Handler certification and First Aid/CPR certification
  • up to 6 months of Case Management support to set goals and create action plans for success
  • one-on-one support from an Employment Specialist to help participants work toward employment goals
Upper Shelf Inventory Management Internship - free 3-month paid internship in Ve'ahavta's warehouse focused on logistics and inventory management
  • participants work two shifts per week learning to receive, sort, and track inventory using a database system
  • includes ladder safety, manual materials handling, WHMIS, and First Aid/CPR
  • up to 6 months of Case Management support to set goals and create action plans for success
  • one-on-one support from an Employment Specialist to help participants work toward employment goals
Mobile Jewish Response to Homelessness (MJRH) - Street Outreach Vans:
  • mobile street outreach program delivering essential supplies and support to people experiencing homelessness across the city
  • one outreach van operates 5 shifts per week downtown, with a second van operating 5 shifts per week in North York and Scarborough
  • distributes food, clothing, hygiene supplies, and harm reduction kits
  • outreach workers also provide referrals and connections to additional supports and services
