Services aim to connect Black, African and Caribbean (BAC) community members with supports they need to help them navigate their path to wellness
Information and Referrals- provide pertinent information to help them find answers to their questions
- assist with referrals to a wide range of resources including, counsellors, community programs and services
Health Promotion and Education- partner with local health experts to deliver presentations on key health topics affecting the Black, African and Caribbean populations
- workshops focus on various health issues, including breast cancer awareness, diabetes education, and more
Social and Congregate Dining- regular social gatherings, designed to encourage social interaction, reduce isolation and build community
- events to celebrate the cultural heritage of BAC communities with traditional foods, music and stories; creating lasting and meaningful connections
Caregiver Support Sessions
- monthly sessions for unpaid caregivers to share and access resources
Generation Connect Group- community-based initiative that brings together people of all ages to strengthen connection, promote well-being, and reduce social isolation across generations
- supports intergenerational understanding through a mix of age-specific and mixed-age activities focused on mental and emotional wellness, peer support, and community building
