Description des services:
|
The program provides flexible responses to appropriately address the needs of infants, children and youth who are experiencing multiple, significant stressors in their life or are at risk of developing serious mental health concerns. Service can last up to 20 weeks depending on the client’s needs and treatment goals
Strength-based and trauma-informed family therapy interventions provided to the child and parent/caregiver may include cognitive behavioural therapy, attachment focused, solution focused, and narrative treatment modalities, as well as parenting support and when warranted, psychological/psychiatric consultation and collaboration/advocacy with other agencies
Counselling services are available in English or French. EveryMind has partnerships with the local school boards (Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board, Peel District School Board, Conseil Scolaire Catholique MonAvenir, and Conseil Scolaire Viamonde) for counselling programs to support the mental health needs of their students
