Description des services: Programs offering positive growth in youth

Enhanced Youth Outreach Program
Clinical intervention program for youth ages 12-21 years * geared to youth experiencing challenges related to mental health, addictions, trauma, relationship violence or human/sex trafficking * connects youths with services to help them develop coping skills

Black Leaders of Tomorrow Program
A youth business mentoring program for youth ages 16-24 years* mentors are matched with youth who identify as Black and who want to develop their business and professional leadership skills * helps youth develop their communication, leadership and financial management skills

Black Youth School Success Initiative
A collaboration of agencies who provide wrap-around services to help black youth graduate or be on track for graduation * provide tutoring and life skill workshops to partnering schools

Student and Family Advocates
Supports Black students and their families a they navigate the education system * promotes responsive education systems, positive student outcomes and increased student belonging * students ages 6-18 years * provides culturally responsive support * develop and offer wrap-around service to students identified to be at risk of not completing high school and those involved with child welfare and the justice system * provides support to schools

Substance Use Program for African Canadian and Caribbean Youth (SAPACCY)
Promotes improved mental wellness for youth who identify as members of the Black, African and Caribbean communities * youth between the ages of 12-29 years, their families and caregivers * provides counselling and psychotherapy, supports, mental health promotion, assessment and treatment planning and interventions, wraparound supports and referral services, caregiver support groups, intensive case management, crisis intervention
